Hope Newcastle started with the desire to fellowship with fellow Christian friends in Newcastle and Sunderland.

I came to Newcastle in 2010 to study at Newcastle University and although I had been joining a local church, I desired to know God more and decided to start a weekly bible study with some of my classmates. In the beginning, there were only 3 of us. In 2011, I met Sabina who was studying in University of Sunderland at the time. Soon after, we started another fellowship group in Sunderland. From a small bible study group, to multiple fellowships, to running Sunday services, we were been blessed to able to make a lot of new friends, grow in faith and see God's church grow. Growing God's church is full of challenges especially during the recent Covid pandemic. However, we are very excited to continue growing and welcoming new people into our church!

Church is not just a place for you to learn about the bible and sing worship songs. Being a part of His church means we build genuine and meaningful relationships, experience spiritual revivals, and discover this awesome God.
